Zpacks Hexamid Pocket Tarp w/ Doors

Just took plunge on a new Hexamid. Sold this few years ago as needed funds to pay some bills. I'm in better position than was back then and decided to re-buy the Hexamid and should arrive back end of Summer if the lead times are accurate. This was my all time favourite shelter for weight, pack-ability, setup and modular approach so looking forward to getting back out in it. Will be using Lanshan 1 Pro in mean time when I finally get back out next month.

I really like the idea of Hexamid tarps but DCF is way out of my price range. :)

@Daniel I like the way the Dirigo 2 end panel has been split to create the extra volume using the panel pull-out. Smart design. What does the ridge pole look like? Does it have rigid end joints for the pole ends to lock into?
no its a carbon bar wrapped in foam, when I pitched it the bar was protruding through to the pole cups on both side and I immediately thought its damaged they worn through but no apparently its how it's ment to be. hmg could have made a better job of it 20210512_173806.jpg 20210512_174316.jpg

OMM Halo Trousers XL £65, delivered, from Sportsshoes with Trek-lite discount. 90g size XL

I'd say they are on the athletic side of XL and if I was trying them on in a shop I'd have gone for the size up (If they made one). I am particularly fat at the moment though :banghead:

Is the size as expected Hel?

I've tried these on over a pair of long trousers, fit well on the legs, a touch snug on the bum, but then again, I could do with shedding a pound or two!! I'm 5'4" and normally UK ladies 12. For summer hikes I'll be wearing shorts and hopefully a bit more svelte, so they should be a good fit.
