I don't think i've ever seen an uberlight with more than 50 nights on it. I've heard people talking on reddit how they are fine with it, but in my life baffles on that thing blow up regardless, and whole TR strategy is that people will use it for less that that before warranty runs out.
Mine did around 24 and 40 nights (I was careful with the second one not to inflate to much, not sure if that made a difference). I now have my second warranty replacement, will see how that goes.

Looks like Decathlon has new mat.
I believe many will appreciate that they can actually see it/try it before buying.

Seen that available couple weeks ago. Pricing is in like with other brands like exped and the like though.

I picked up a double big Agnes SL rapide when it went in sale for £130 iirc that's for family camping next month

I replaced my personal xtherm with a long wide ba SL rapide too, find it a lot comfier.

Just back from my Spain bikepacking trip and my Uberlite mattress has bitten the dust (baffles blown again).

I’m going to return it - given that it’s my third one, I am hoping that TR do offer to replace with the Xlite because I can’t be bothered keep sending them back……

They probably will. Uberlite is discontinued. Won't hurt to ask for xlite in your notes either.

I have a feeling that this while good on paper will actually be a worse mat than the older version. The zoom ul which also uses film is a lot colder than the stated r value. The pump sack upgrade is also meaningless to me as I use a pump.
Just following up on this post i made on the new Rapide SL and judging on the last video from Justin Outdoors I may have been correct unfortunately.

I'm not finding my rapide that amazing if I'm honest, you can feel the ground through it, especially getting on and off

While I think it probably is comfier than the thermarest it's softer/squishy

This is normal isn't it? Unless you overinflate the pad (which is not recommended) it won't be firm when you're only pressing on a small area (e.g. sitting or kneeling on it). As long as the pad keeps you off the ground when your entire mass is spread out (when you're lying down), that's fine.

Pretty much all hollow air pads are the same. But if you aren't keen on them, a foam-filled self-inflating mat is another option. They are often warmer and more durable, but that comes at the expense of a little more weight.

No not normal, and not really experienced it with other pads I've had, it's fine when laying on but I can feel like the hip is down closer when side sleeping for instance.

I'm tempted to go back to the Thermarest, I've been wary of the xlite, but they have a lifetime warranty

I think this is maybe why I toss and turn overnight as a side sleeper as my hips become uncomfortable.
I was tempted by a sea-to-summit ether light xt as it's 10cm thick and I thought the structure might provide more support for my hips.
I'm still using my Exped for now tho.

I'm a side and back sleeper, I'm quite comfy on my 5 cm inflatable pad (exped) and even more comfy on the 7 cm pad (BA). I found the si mats uncomfortable, but I wasn't using the thick ones. You can always put a thin ccm underneath for extra comfort.

I am a partial rotisserie sleeper; I sleep on my sides and my back, but never on my stomach.

I have never tried the most popular and expensive UL pads, but everything else I have ever used is hard to adjust for an inflation that works both for back sleeping and side sleeping over the course of an evening. If inflated for side sleeping, the pad is over inflated for back sleeping. If inflated for back sleeping, the pad is under inflated for side sleeping. Annoying!

My fix has been to often bring along a three-quarter length roll of Evazote. Extra weight and an extra item to pack, but man, does it increase comfort!
