Hi

Have you used the ordos 3 yet, how do you rate it
We've only used it for one trip so far, but so far so good. It's easy to pitch and a reasonable combination of weight, size (it's plenty big for the 2 of us and 1 or 2 dogs) and price. The conditions on that trip weren't challenging though (other than dropping from about 20C during the day to under 3C overnight).

Just had an OMM Supersonic Smock which is basically their Sonic windshell with a Primaloft Active insulating layer. Supposed to be 185g but I expect that'll be for a medium so my large version will be heavier.

Given current weather conditions it might be a while before I use it!

Boreas Bolinas Rucksack 31L rolltop. Popped up for no money at all so thought why not. I like that the frame on the back can be adjusted/bent to suit

I have a 6 coming too. Outdoor active has stopped working on my Casio pro trek so that's my excuse. Would have gone for the X but the Casio was too big, so fancied something smaller.

Exped Flash pocket to give my Atompack a bit more capacity if needed in winter.
Impressed with the build and quality and it fits onto my pack fine.

Let us know how you get on @Munro277 , be good to get something approximating OS on there. I've today off so will head out for a little walk and see how I get on with the onboard maps.

If your map is a Disk Image File (all the ones that I've had for Garmin devices have been) then simply copy and paste it into the Garmin file on the watch. If it's named the same as a DIF file already in the folder (e.g. "gmapsupp") then add a 1 to the end of the name so that you don't lose the map already on the watch.
Edit: To display the map go to settings (by holding down the left middle button), activity and apps, hike (or wherever you want to view the map), hike settings, (scroll to) map, configure maps, then scroll to the map you want to display and select it. It's not as complicated as it sounds.

Did you get your Talkytoaster maps to work?

I didn't realise I could load more/better maps onto my 6Pro and so am v interested to know how you've got on.
