That's awesome, thank you very much.
Hi Chiseller, thanks for the reply. Can you just explain a bit more about the friction fit extension and what it's for?Another vote for bear Bones Pole-a-bear poles. He'll do you a friction fit extension for them if you like. I got one with my pole and gives me a bit more options.
I bought a pair of 110cm poles from Stu to use with my TT Notch on the bike, but I bought a couple of extensions so I can use them with other shelters at 120, 130. & 145cm
They just slide onto the bottom piece
Where did you get the extensions? Could do with them for the Drift 4 as the pitch is a little too low for my liking View attachment 22591
Edit, a bit of Google-fu revealed this,

Are there cheaper non adjustable versions?
I feel a myog project incoming...
They're to give the option of a higher loft or a slightly angled pole for more room.Hi Chiseller, thanks for the reply. Can you just explain a bit more about the friction fit extension and what it's for?
I've contacted Stuart and he's priced me up a set of carbon poles for the trekker so I may enquire about the extension if it's useful.
Thanks
Darren
OK, thanks. I'll email him and see what he says. I was worried that a fixed pole might cause problems with pitching a trekker if the ground is uneven (might be completely wrong tho) , I'll try it out with my walking poles 1st when it arrives and see. They're to give the option of a higher loft or a slightly angled pole for more room.
They just slip on and off.
He stands by his products if your honest with him.
Top bloke who knows his stuff.
His carbon solid pegs are pretty good... Just don't hit the ends with a rock in Ennerdale
