Prism Pants? Down jacket as well as a Primaloft top?
I know it's grim up north, but not that grim in August surely?

If it is, might you notwant something other than a baselayer top for walking in? (e.g. microfleece or another baselayer?)

This is my first outing with my quilt (In Hills) so they're mainly to augment it if needed. I sometimes sleep quite cold and although we have had some really mild weather I don't want to have a bad nights sleep because of cold spots. Will also use them on out on night if it's windy/cool on peak we plan in kipping on.

I should be fine with my usual baselayer while walking as will likely have ascent jacket over it as-well judging from weather. If it gets chilly I will put on my smock.

The down jacket is only comparable to a fleece top anyway but may leave it out as probably fine with the smock for bed if needed.

Are you expecting rain Adz?
Might be worth taking your lighter Montane Minimus if you're not (if you still have it)

Yes bud. Some classic British weather expected over the weekend with thunderstorms possible. I did initially have the Minimus in list but changed it for the Ascent after seeing report.
