Hi, im Anders from Norway. Im new to lightweight backpacking. Looking to get som advice and maybe share some advice Im currently undergoing the transform to lightweight backpacking.

Most of my hikes are at the westcoast of Norway as i live in the city of Stavanger. The picture is from one of my hikes there. As for 2016 im going for a summertrip to the Lomsdal Visten National park. I love troutfishing so my to rods are always with me.

my goals are to go light but also comfortable.

Hi Anders - welcome. I'm a newbie too and have found lots of great advice and information here.

I'm working towards being a full-on trail and trout bum! I do a little bit of Tenkara fishing but going ultralight means I can now pack a full Western fly outfit and still be light & comfortable!
