That tapered foot looks. Like nothing but hassle unless you sleep like the dead?
I had to send my first Vesper 7C quilt back the ULOG. It had faulty down distribution out of the box and there was no way to redistribute it (no stuff gap to move around down). The replacement I got has been a great summer quilt and is true to 7C imo with a decent mat. (I went for the large as like the extra width, regular might have been a little too constrictive. No issues with the footbox which in particular is well stuffed and very warm for it's rating imo. Pad strap system is not the best as it only wraps around the pad edge, so can cause a lot of dead space to heat in cold nights (I might modify mine with MYOG straps for this season)
