Lady Grey
Thru Hiker
Just 'testing the waters' on this one to see if any interest.
Post up properly later on.
It's a Trekkertent prototype....the first one Mark made to my specification but based on his Silnylon Bivi Tent.
It was supposed to have arrived for the John Muir Trail, but...
It did'nt.....say no more!! .
Arrived 2 months later with a few features that I had requested, sadly absent.....oh well......
2 identical crosspoles.
Unna shape but with ZPacks type overlapping doors.
I Crudely made a vent...it works but Im rubbish at that sort of thing.
The ZPacks cuben tub fits exactly.
MLD's Mesh Inner fits also but tight and need to gather the mesh below the Apex.
This shelter is based more on a Bivi type shelter so not the height of the traditional Unna.
Weighs 700gms inc poles.
A good use for it is using with an ordinary Bivi....head under the shelter and legs outside.
Then, if the weather turns nasty, at least the Unna provides a good living area.
Will wait and see if any interest.
PRICE £249........ish......to be confirmed.
