Mountain Warehouse microfleece 1/4 zip pullover. 270g and has some structure to it. Very warm for the weight and breathes well. Best of all, half price in their January sale: £12.99.

Cascadia 14 GTX
Have you been and tried them anywhere? They are a different beast to previous models. I've had mine a while now and I love many of the improvements and the light weight but have a couple of negatives with them. They are more flexible than 12s and I find them to feel like a less stable platform when running in them off road. The lugs on the soles look great but they don't self clean on sticky mud, I guess this is similar to the 12s. I decided I wanted some shoes that were more like the 12s and ended up with Mizuno Wave Mujin 6. I tried 10, my usual size and they were a bit tight so ended up with 10.5s. I know we are all different but I thought I'd mention what I'd found with Cascadia 14s. If you are buying them for walking on trails and rocky ground I think you will really like them, on clay muddy paths not so much. Just my 2ps.Decent price?
I've spent about 3 hours tonight looking for the non gtx, cheapest I've found in my size is £98
Kidneys fetch decent prices at the moment I hear...Picked up a Tramplite from Colin, going through gear to see what to sell now to avoid a thermo nuclear event at home

Which on did you get, the lite or the normal?
Is the Inov8 wind shell the best wind shirt you've had @ChisellerI did 4 the dales way with one... Does the job, but needs pairing with a baselayer that works for you.
I've not used it since I got my Inov8 wind shell. I might use it on fair weather trips but the extra weight of the inov8 wins if its real wind and longer showers.

3.25m on the long diagonal. Good option for tall hikers.
Moved onto the salomon fastwing hybrid... Wipes the floor with the inov8 in terms of fit and breathability.... Not got it wet yet though....Is the Inov8 wind shell the best wind shirt you've had @Chiseller
Anyone had better. I have a Rab Vital Windshell Hoody and various running windshells but none seem to breathe as well as I would have expected. Maybe I'm just a sweaty git.
