Also, try using a Whitebox or any "perch pan on top" stove on sloping or rough ground and it soon gets annoying.
Cones or Speedster style integrated windshield/potstand just work the best over the widest range of ground conditions.
Starlyte style Stoves are best all round IMO. Even Trail Designs sell them as an option for their cones.

Don't forget, Cathy's...'ikkle' stove continued to burn for 17mins, when I tested it last...it does take longer to get a boil, but, passes the time o' day and night.....:)
Trail Designs always seem to work out the most efficient and stable. The BEST when it's blowing a hoolie; that cone is the tops.
