As @Build-a-Bear says, it leaves behind a rectangle of glue-residue on the fleece which is unsightly, but it won't affect functionality as it's not at all tacky.
Acetone seems to work very well to remove glue residue. I had an old Haglofs soft shell top with glue residue where a pocket fell off. Persistent / patient rubbing with acetone soaked cotton buds eventually removed all sign of the glue.
Disclaimer: test on fabric first to check it doesn't dissolve..., and best done outside / in a well ventilated area.

Yes I think I may have also used nail varnish remover to loosen the stubborn glue on my Nitro. I certainly got 95% of it off. The rest disappeared over time with washes.

I do like my Nitro. The fit is great for me (XL, usually I'm a L). Though sleeves might be long and a little tight in the forearm for some folk.

Having some free time and meths to hand (hat-tip @Mole) I resumed Nitro pocket-removal and finally got it off mine. As @Build-a-Bear says, it leaves behind a rectangle of glue-residue on the fleece which is unsightly, but it won't affect functionality as it's not at all tacky.

FYI: Nitros are defying inflation and still $100 NZD / £50.

Huh, I was going by the in-store price - it's strange that the discount doesn't apply online, even with the club membership.

Since I was in the shop anyway I started trying on the women's version to see how they fitted. I'm size (S) in men's and both 10 & 12 women's were too tight on the forearms to get on.
