A very absolutist review. Most reviews I’ve seen seem to be pretty happy with his stuff? I think most concede everything is pretty basic and simple in design, but that’s kind of part of the price point I figured.I'd look at MLD mate, the Borah gear stuff is crap

Interesting I was near to pulling the trigger on one of their other bivvys. Not a review, just my opinion
I have Borah Gear Event rain shell trousers, small tarp and more importantly a Snowyside bivvy
So recon i've got enough direct experience to voice an opinion
My opinion is, in both case the workmanship and design is crap
I’m curious about what is crap though? A lot of glowing reviews are so often from users who’ve camped a couple of times in their backyard then posted on Reddit, so it’s good to get some balance...Not a review, just my opinion

I'd have like to here what the specific criticisms are. I've gone ahead and ordered an ultralight bivvy having read a few reviews and watched a YouTube review from someone who has used it for an extended period on the AT. Not expecting it to be perfect but recon it'll do a job for me. I guess. Our expectations vary.I’m curious about what is crap though? Also did you get that all at once, or were you going back for punishment?
