Did it arrive? Mine shipped on 3 August but hasn't arrived and the tracking number doesn't work.

Yes. It arrived, I posted a photo in What Have You Bought thread. I'd get in touch with them, if you haven't received it yet.

I had ordered two but they never arrived. The tracking number was for a Chinese delivery service and I was never able to make it work. I wrote to Zack at flextail twice but got no reply. Now it turns out that the tracking number works in Royal Mail’s tracker and I discover that it has been sent back. I never received a delivery card here. So further correspondence with Zack, also unanswered. Problem is that flextail subcontracts delivery to Indiegogo and indiegogo leave customer relations with flextail, so no one thinks they are responsible. In this case Royal Mail are actually at fault for not leaving a card but I still think flextail should respond and replace. Fact is that I paid and received nothing. Royal Mail is their delivery agent.

Keep hammering Flextail customer service and Indiegogo comments. Shipper is responsible for shipment until received. If the parcel was returned to them, then you are at least entitled to a refund.

I got no reply from Flextail after multiple attempts. But I wanted a 250g mat so this morning I ordered a new one. I received the confirmation email and LITERALLY one minute later I received an email from customer service to say my last order had been returned to them and they were going to re-post it back to me. So..... there will be a flextail up for sale on here in due course. A red mummy version £25

I might very well be interested in a red mummy version :).

One of these has arrived but the lost and then re-sent one has not arrived nor even a tracking number or reply to queries. Pretty fed up with these people.
Anyway, on to the mat itself. It’s soft textured and not too uncomfortable considering how thin it is. But tell me this other owners, how do you deflate? I can’t find a way to hold the valve release in place except by keeping my finger on it, which is tricky as I have but two hands and need two of them for rolling and squeezing air out. What have I missed?

That's been the complaint at Indie-gogo page but some people say it's easy, which makes me think there are different types of valves in these. I've been hoping to get a photo from @tom or @Pala2 who I think have also ordered the mat.

Only way for me was to push finger inside the valve to push the flap down or folding the valve in two.

Exped put a wee "pokey" widget attached to the valve which you push thru' the valve flap to hold it open. A zip puller looped over the valve cap might suffice.

Mine looks like this - turn the inner part to deflate...

Finally got around checking this and we have different valves.

The mat I received doesn’t have that groove, hence I can’t deflate the mat without a second person, as the centre bit needs to be pressed constantly to keep the valve open and doing that while rolling the mat with one hand is impossible.

I've commented on Indiegogo page and sent them an email.

its arrived, been looking for one at a fair price for ages and hardloop had a 20%code.
now will it be warm enough for me to sell my winterlite and xtherm :o o:. with this and the big agnes axl insulated im in sleeping mat comfort heaven. I still have a serak gear ul ccf which could boost either plus my groundsheet is a reflective bivi chopped open.20201030_202530.jpg 20201030_203012.jpg

My £8.13 airpad has arrived, and it weighs less than advertised at 260g. :smug:
It looks like it's made out of the same sort of plastic as rubble sacks. :rolleyeses:

Still, if it gets me through a long wait on an airport floor, I'll regard it as a cheap night out.

Why do you prefer these to the Thermarests @Daniel ? (xtherm and xlite)

Cheers i feel the same but always tolerated the TAR ones due to the weight saving. I might look at those, the weight difference is negligible now.

I don't suppose anyone has compared the Flextail Zero to the very similar (albeit much heavier) Naturehike inflatable mats? I'm a bit concerned about the durability of the material.

I'm always surprised when I read people liking Neoair/TAR mats (I did try different models too) - for me, a TAR virtually guarantees semi-sleepless nights with backpain (which I rarely ever get unless sleeping on a TAR). And then I read Exped Airmat HL reviews describing them as "uncomfortable" :( - to me the most comfortable UL mat (in its weight range) out there ...

Just ordered a FlexMat Plus to try out on @Arne L. 's recommendation ...

My partner has one of those. Whichever the biggest and warmest model is. It feels pretty warm for me but I don't have much to compare it against. The problem with it is that the insulation has become unstuck inside and is moving around after about 7 nights' use. Wouldn't recommend even at the price.

Ah, the classic 'we'll let the consumer do the field testing'.
