I had a look at the summerlite spec it doesn't go too much into temps really, so it was a bit of a hit n hope.

It says 225g of 850fil

The Rab I was looking at had 200g of 900fil.
The Regular Summerlite has 255g down:-

165cm short225 g
180cm regular255 g
200cm long285 g

They're used to be temp descriptions, the 0C iirc is the "Comfort Limit", I think the Upper Comfort level was 5C.

I have a Summerlite, as a cold sleeper i use it in Spring to Autumn but below 5C I upgrade to something warmer. You might get away with it lower if you're a warm sleeper.

I have a Summerlite too. Nice bag.

I sleep colder than most. I've only used it Scotland once - last summer in silly hot temps.
Normally the weather is too chill or I'm high up and need something more. It was great in OZ in the desert 😁.

I think it will be fine for use at lower levels in England for most of the warmer season - especially as you said you sleep warm (?)

My 765g bags the best. Wide with a full zip. Rated to -2°C but will see me a lot colder (-18°C+) wearing down clobber inside & in summer as a quilt fully unzipped. That's my opinion anyway! 🤣 Can't be arsed with multiple items of kit if I can help it. Might make my pack a bit heavier (I can take it) but my life load is lighter.

My 770g (Long) MH Phantom Spark is also rated to -2 and was ok at that with a light down jacket and rohan striders on. I would rather take my EE quilt to use as an overbag than try to push it much lower with extra clothing though, as it would get a bit tight for me. For really serious cold I have a long and old Marmot with 2.2lb of down inside...

Quick question, why do they make all sleeping gear out of the slipperiest materials know to many?

Tried that bag last night on the ba and it's grease lightning...

First time in a proper close fitting bag and it was ok, shoulder area was the most restrictive hips and legs were fine.

I guess it's a combination of very thin nylon and water repellent coatings. These are used in down bags for obvious reasons like increasing loft and moisture control, but when combining such materials with another nylon object (silnylon tent floors, nylon sleeping mats) it's a recipe for disaster sometimes haha. Best bet it just to paint on some thin lines on silicone on your tent floor and top of your sleeping pad

That's why I really like the thermarest bags, they have pad straps, been really impressed with them,

I only paid £200 for the summerlite so may sell it and just buy a thinner tr bag

Quilts come with pad straps. Good in summer, cos it's easy to stick a leg out if it's a bit warm.
Much lighter than a mummy bag for the same warmth. Especially on your high R value pad.
i tried a quilt just didnt like the way, prefer a to be swaddled haha

I was searching for the EN Comfort and Limit ratings, but found this instead!

"Due to its construction, this bag does not meet the criteria for an EN test."

I wonder why not?

EDIT - Ah, I see - "The upper bag, and underside of the legs, is filled with ultra-high-lofting 900FP down and heat-reflective TILT, reducing radiant heat loss without a gram of unnecessary weight. Meanwhile, the lower bag hooks around the mat which insulates you from the ground."
