Fond memories of camping in something similar when I was a young teenager. I seem to remember we carried it up to Chanctonbury Ring for a wild camp once.

Interesting to see the photo, Owen, thanks for posting.
I was keen to get this tent as my wife has memories of camping in something very similar as a child, a smaller version, I think. We came across some of it whilst clearing my in-law's house recently - we found the nesting centre pole and the groundsheet, but no sign of the fly.

Might've placed an order with Tarptent late on Monday night, getting delivered today, how is that even possible
It was less than 48 hours between me ordering a blem Ultra fly for my Scarp and the delivery guy ringing the doorbell, earlier this year. And that was despite me selecting the cheapest "might be slow" international shipping option, I think. It is indeed amazing.

La sportiva ultra raptor mid gtx boots.
After getting on surprisingly well with the trainer version I thought I'd give the mids a try. Ordered 2E width instead of the standard I use on the trainers. Fit is spot on despite being half a size smaller.
Test walk today.

I've been on those sportiva for 3 years now.. Only issue I've ever had was a little rub damage to the foam upper when used on my Bike.
Fixed with a bit of seamseal.

My Camtors Itisa Senior tent arrived this week whilst I was out in the hills, pitched it this morning.

First attempt at pitching, haven't tried the fly yet, or tucked the flaps of inner under the groundsheet. Our scrap of flat grass is barely big enough for the guylines, and I had to make the pole out of the skeleton of an old Force Ten and a piece of old walking pole. But it is in decent condition for its age - delighted with it!

How do you manage to get years out of de facto trainers is beyond my understanding. My usual la sportiva gets retired from sketchy stuff after 300k, and thrown away after 500-600k.
I use them walking, and as they age they get retired to MTB touring
