Just bought the inreach so just reading through the blog, some very good info
Your'e welcome, and the delivery is super fast.
I'm impressed with mine (Inreach) as it does a lot more than I initially bought it for.

Was initially going to buy the inreach messenger but the 2 was in the sale so bought that instead.
Wasn't going to get one but was out on the Scottish Hills last week and could not get a reception to let wife no I was OK for about 21 hrs so for her piece of mind I have one now.
Lots of features will take me a while to get used to it, I am ols school map and compass.

I find this guy very informative easy to follow.

I decided on one as we now hike all around Europe etc and nobody really knows our plans day to day...

I’ve already used it in 0c and survived, it‘s not really that kind of quilt but I’d go out with it again if that kind of weekend threatened. But it was great above that temperature, I was well pleased with the straps and footbox - no drafts and it was cozy.

But DON’T buy it from Amazon. I’ve learnt my lesson as the buggers hoicked the price up by £15 almost overnight when they realised how popular it is.

Although I got it at the price I’d pay from Featherstone, I’ll buy direct next time.
I bought it direct from Featherstone. Great service.

Been using it in Europe. Cold a week ago in France but used it with down trousers and slept like a baby. Love a quilt! Then further down in Switzerland just right but too warm for Italy but at least you can open it up. Works well with my Exped Ultra 5R MW. At last I feel like I have the perfect 3 with my XMid 1P Solid. Altogether it’s a great 3 season set up.

Sitka Mountain EVO...

Why We Made This...

We needed a solution that would shield us from heat-sapping wind while offering enough breathability to keep us dry and comfortable throughout active pursuits—essentially, we needed a layer we could put on in the morning and not think about for the rest of the day. So we made the Mountain Evo 100% windproof in key areas such as the chest and hood to prevent the wind from sapping precious core warmth and energy. Meanwhile, carefully mapped 4-way stretch panels at the back and underarms let you dump heat quickly and move without restriction. By strategically combining these elements, we created a jacket that maintains comfort through changing weather conditions and varying activity levels—a jacket you never have to take off.
