I have an inner. Just without a zip.
Sorry, must have missed that. I saw you're planning to use a mosquito net which I wouldn't class as a decent inner unless you can properly seal it and seat/eat inside it!
Even with a decent inner the midges are horrendous. Which reminds me, you might want to consider taking a mosquito coil for when you inevitably wake up surrounded by midges. Don't use a whole one just light a small bit of it and chuck it out of the inner to clear your tent.
Socks: I'm taking the watreproof socks for after I get to base camp and hav cleaned/dried/treated fet etc and want to walk about I don't have to put wet socks back on or put dry socks in wet shoes. Also will be putting these on in I know it's going to be raining all day.
I saw, but you asked people to give you their views (not just reinforce your views!). It is entirely your choice what you're prepared to suffer with!
Bank: Addressed this earlier. I use a lot of power and I'm laving a in a few days so don't have time or want to buy a 10k PD bank. I may get one for future use though depending on how much I use of the 26800mah
Amazon do decent Anker powerbanks which you can get in 24 hours in most places. I was charging an Iphone XR, Inreach Mini, NU25, Ipods (plus occasionally an Ipad Mini or Kindle) off a 10000mAh power bank and I wasn't exactly being sparing using the phone for some maps and photos. If you're eating in pubs then you'll easily find places to charge. Again your choice but you did ask!
Phone/Wallet etc are not part of base weight. I have to firmly disagree. Base weight is things in my pack minus consumables. Phon and wallrt will be in my pocket or chest pack. They're not part of ba wight for sam reason cloths are not (IMO).
Disagree all you want, you're still carrying them! I'd rather have my phone and wallet securely in my pack personally. A chest pack and contents are definitely part of your base weight otherwise you might as just well say your backpack isn't part of your base weight!
