Wall maps?

What's up, mappers!

I'd like a big wall map of Cornwall to study, just South Cornwall or the whole of Cornwall. OS does only 80cm x 80cm. Anyone know any sites where I could get a bigger one?

Have a look at the Aqua map site. They can print various sizes of map and you may need to go and choose the area and then call up the options.

If you know anybody who works in an Engineering company :whistling:...they may have very large printers for drawings & CAD designs.
I will see how big ours are next week and if they will let me print..
B&W ? Colour ?
Can't promise tho :thumbsup:....

I built my summerhouse yesterday so I may be needing to print myself some also for it...

You don't specify what size you want? I'm guessing you want to go enlarged over more coverage? Maybe ask a local large format printer (like what Diddi suggested). They used to be really tight on not printing maps, but that was before all these OS licences so might be happy to print a PDF for you. Anything that goes to SRA1 or SRA0 would be good. You could always tile it. Or go wallpaper option onto MDF panel.

Harvey maps do large scale maps on request for land management, perhaps they may do them as a wall map, not going to be cheap.
