UPS are completley USELESS!

My Zpacks Hexamid parcel was sent via their expedited international. Was supposed to arrive on 15th "Bye End of Day" which means by 7pm according to their site.

Took time off work and waited all day and nothing. Tracking still said on the way.

Then it switched to check back tomorrow for updated delivery schedule.

..And now
"We've begun an investigation to locate the parcel. "

This is 10 business days before I'm due to leave on trip and they say it takes 8 days to complete and conclude decision. ZPacks support says they have to until Monday when their supervisor comes in to decide if they will send out expedited replacement and try and get UPS to send back to them when or IF they find it! I have a feeling ZPacks are not going to send another and just wait the full 8-16 days!

I will NEVER again use UPS or any company who only offers UPS! 😡


No wonder their reviews are so bad..

I had the UPS driver place my Drop delivery on my doorstep - tell me he couldn't take a payment - pick it up and take it away. Many phone calls and tweets later I got my delivery. Good, except UPS overcharged me. Cue more angst. Not my favourite delivery company.

Me too! I paid in advac online, they overcharged me and now look like I won't even get the package that I have paid customs on. They're a complete fking joke. Their whole system is outdated and inefficient.

I'm starting to sweat a bit with my stackry parcel. Its been in transit from stackry to DHL ecommerce distribution center for 4 days now.
It only took 2 days last time...

Looks like they have not changed. I try to avoid UPS after a similar issue.
Hopefully they resolve the matter quickly for you.

It only took 2 days last time...
Sounds pretty normal. I use DHL's budget service quite a bit to send stufg from the States and it is reliable but the tracking tends to lag, no movement for a few days and, allof a sudden, it appears in your mailbox. With the budget courrier services, your parcel sits around until it is used to fill an empty space in a container or bag which is why it tends to move in fits and bouts.

none of the usual courier services are all that good though afaik; i suspect they're all overwhelmed with the sheer number of parcels, but rather than employ more staff, they just pile more and more on the drivers (i used to work for herpes, they were terrible!)

I wouldn't worry about that bud. My Stackry took 4 days from thm to th DHL center. July 6-10th. It's currently enroute to UK now. It's the overdue scheduld delivries and then the item lost messages that should worry you :(

Unless the drivr has stolen my item or lost it themself it's not the drivers I'm blaming. It's the people sorting the packages or organising them. Mine has apparently been filed away under Z or under a table somewhere but they don't know where.

Unless the drivr has stolen my item or lost it themself it's not the drivers I'm blaming. It's the people sorting the packages or organising them. Mine has apparently been filed away under Z or under a table somewhere but they don't know where.

It's probably more accurate to blame the management who design and oversee the sorting system that allows for such cracks through which things fall. Sorters are probably under the same sort of ridiculous workload and pressure as drivers (I speculate).

UPDATE: No news from UPS. Package is still lost and claims have been put in. I'll also be chasing bank/Paypal up about reversing the customs fee charge. :mad:

On the plus size Zpacks have been awesome and they are as ****** as I am. They're prepping replacement now and should be shipped (Not via UPS) by tomorrow fingers crossed. So things are looking back on track and should have tarp in time. :)

I won't shop with anyone that only offers UPS, they are utter :poop: staffed by idiots with no idea about customer service. The real surprise is it took 4 separate incidents before I saw the light.

1. They told me their driver had been 3 times to our house to deliver a package - total lies, they never came because where I live is 120 miles from their nearest depot and if we're the only delivery in the area, they just won't bother.

2. They delivered another parcel to a completely random house in the next department with no similarity to our address at all.

3. They told me they'd left my package worth about 400€ at a collection point, I went to pick it up, the shop denied having it, had to threaten to have the driver arrested before they admitted it had never left their depot.

4. They "delivered" a birthday present for my son by throwing it over the hedge into the garden while it was p!55ing with rain.

Hats off to Zpacks, I've bought from them in the past (not delivered by UPS thankfully) but their customer service was great. UPS watch and learn.....
