If the 'not want a face full of nylon' is important, an offset pole design (eg Stratospire, XMid, High Route) will help make the end walls more steep, or struts (Notch, Stratospire etc). The Drift has relatively shallow end walls so you may have limited clearance at the ends (as with mids, unless fairly large). I happily used mids for some time but have come to appreciate the headroom at the ends of the tent with other designs.Light

What weight is the Lightwave?i'm even considering a SD High side 1.
My needs are for 1 or 2 nights max. Remote, 3 season (Scottish) small pack size and much lighter than my Lightwave.
