I've got a cunning plan to raise a bit of cash for Mountain Rescue so wanted to run it by you all and see if it's worth progressing further.

I'm sure many of you have seen the custom DCF printed goodies produced by Hilltop Packs, well the plan is to order a size large DCF food bag (3 to 7 days) in blue with the Trek-Lite logo printed on it. They're not cheap but I thought I could sell tickets for say £5 a pop and then Mrs Shewie would draw out a winner on a specified date, once my costs are covered all profit will go to MR.

I did something similar on another forum a number of years ago and managed to raise nearly £1300 with Gift Aid.

Does it sound like a good idea?

Would anybody even want to be seen with a Trek-Lite food bag in public?

Oooo, shall we have a poll?

EDIT:
Sadly there's not enough interest to make this worthwhile nevermind raising £1300 lol, different strokes for different forums I guess, thanks to those who showed an interest, another time perhaps

Not that "I wouldn't be seen dead with one" - just not my thing. Sorry.
I'll find other ways to help Mountain Rescue.

Good Luck.
