Where did I see these before.... :p
5mm high density Eva and 1cm mesh. I had some small scraps laying around.
But I didn't have any wide enough webbing to finish the edge... :o o:

The first try the Eva ripped at the seams. I enlarged the stich length to 4 and it's holding. But I don't think it will last very long :)

Using some kamsnaps and some webbing I’ve made a removable tab to roll down the hood on my Marmot Ether jacket. Stops it flapping about.

Hey, Great idea I was thinking about light weight camp/ hut shoes. I was thinking Eva Flip flops & stick on soles+ ankle strap(s).

Try sewing it with thin webbing/ribbon or light weight material on top. You could also use trimming of VX07.
The material over the Eva will prevent the thread cutting through the foam.;)

    DCF bathtub

    1.0oz Cuben

    Generously sized at 218cm x 106cm x 14cm

    164g but built to last.

Just a couple of mid tie-outs to add and possibly some slight reinforcement to prevent peel.

Im thinking laminating the foam with PU glue to the Xpac might be the way forward, or sewn into a pocket.

My MEC hut booties have HD EVA foam sewn into a pocket of light liner and they are bomber tough.
