    i was fortunate enough to meet norman on the tgo 16 since then had several stoves off him and some test gear. top geezer and my thoughts go out to his family.

    Never met or had one of his very popular stoves but know how much he will be missed, sad news.

    Very sad news. Condolences to his family. His stoves will be carried and feed us for many years to come on all the beautiful peaks and valleys.

    That is a shame - the cone he made me is still going strong but it's going to feel funny using it now.

    I missed this too. Very sad to hear of Norman's passing. I still use the Stormin' cone and stove he made for me some years ago.

    Same here. Got cone for my MyTiMug. Only just been on his site after 4 years and saw the notice that not taking orders. Came here to see when was re-opening but saw RIP in comments in search results :(

    When my Stormin cone eventually wears out, I plan to use it as a template to cut my next one - so Norman's work will live on, kind of.

    Missed it too, I just thought he shut up shop. Sad news indeed. My cone is still going strong even though it looks like a tank has rolled over it, was even thinking the other day about getting a new one from Norman.
