Yes, it does but on the same vein you are paying for postage at some point anyway, why complicate it transferring funds? What Rog says makes sense otherwise you're not only giving something away for free you are coughing up postage too.
That will put folk off imo...
I thought that was the whole point: the postage you pay for the item you send is in fact delayed payment for the object you received.
The only one who is both giving away something and paying for the privilege with nothing in return is @craige since he decided to get the ball rolling.
I think the `Pay it forward' idea is overcomplicating a good idea.
If you have something you don't need and someone else wants it. The receiving person pays the postage. End of.
@craige Sorry to mess up the thread. Should have chimed in on the discussion post earlier. Saw it too late.
Suggestion: anyone wanting to offoad dusty discards for the price of postage is free to post in the For Sale section with a big FREE in his item description.
Wait, that might be a little too cartesian a solution...
I'd gladly take it off his hands but all of my stuff is currently in a shipping container and waiting two months before offering up another item is the best way to kill this scheme.I'm surprised the Sawyer hasn't gone yet

Clearly a sore subject
My bad that should of course have read "his/hers/its items" but I dare say that a separate thread for kites and litre-sized containers for the purpose of nocturnal urination does sound like a good idea." with a big FREE in his item description"
Yes, probably best if we do, keep a separate thread for the free female flim-flammery ....
I think having a choice of a couple of different items from one member might not be a bad thing, but it might be better if we had to pick just one of them and then it moved onto the next person, so item a or item b.
It's going to get messy and hard to follow/find available items of the trend continues? Or am I missing something?

What do you need yardage and property wise? I may have some I can bung in with moles mule tape?Forgived
But I did think we might have persued some intercontinental 'Filly so fickle' punnery along the lines of Des Cartes and the dualistic nature of his mapping strategies perhaps... Balagan? I'm just a little disappointed
Though of course you'll understand that, with my background, I'm rather more in favour of integration, rather than compartmentalisation of the mind / body paradigm...
Moreover, I did consider making some copies of my rather splendid kite... Such a simple design, and flies on the slightest breeze...
So I''ll be in the orderly queue for lightweight fabric offcuts, with this in mind.. .
Na, it's not a PIF.
I'll see what I've got, I'm guessing most lightweight windproof type fabrics will be fine then? I think I'll be able to manage something. Hopefully in pretty colours. No pink though
Oh, did you get @Mole's message too?
I always thought "their" implied some sort of plural. I would have used it had my sentence began with "All/People/Those who want..." Not sure it works so well with "anyone" but I've not had the pleasure of attending Ms Valkyrie's Advanced Grammmar and Dead Accurate Axe Throwing class...Oh ; and whilst we're on schoolboys
Rather than the rather inelegant ; his / hers / its ; you are, I'm quite sure, very aware of the collective, non gender specific, possessive determiner 'their'?
