Packraft gear sub-forum?

Just thinking ahead. Maybe a sub-forum in Gear for packrafting/canoe/kayak etc?

The "packraft" threads are easy to find with a search but having them all in one sub-forum sounds even simpler - so yeah I'd support that...

Let's see how it goes with the existing threads in Other Gear for now, I was warned away from having too many sub forums when I setup the site initially by somebody much more experienced and wiser at these things.

A relative newcomer's observation - there are already 15 sub-forums in the 'Gear' section, and only 4 in 'Out There'.

Some of these sub-forums get perhaps 1 new thread a year, I think there's already too many and would merge them together rather than creating more!

I can understand that. I've owned/ran forum back in the day and adding too many can clutter/lead to a lot of empty forums.

Are you sure you're not getting confused with seeing the "sticky" threads at top of sub-forums and dates they were added? I've just looked through and from quick glance all sections have multiple threads this year.
