This seems like a bit of a bargain for about £50 delivered to the UK inclusive. Once the back pad and belt are removed it appears to be 500g ish according to a reviewer on YouTube. I could do without the front zip and there only appears to be one size but it might be worth a try. Anyone any experience of it?

It says 1kg

It does say 1kg. It also says £96.76 for me.

I'm struggling to see how with this design, size and material it can weigh 1kg though. 500g without the hip belt and any back pad sounds about right.

Price has gone back up. 1kg weight is complete with a back stiffened panel and hip belt and pockets.

I emailed them to see if they'd honour the price and they said they would discount it back down. Available now for $61.21 plus VAT here which works out about £53 for me.

500g backpad/belt? :o o:
Yeah seems unlikely, the reference came from the comments on this vid. According to the guy who posted the video it weighs 670g without the stiffener and 500g without that and the belt.

My biggest issue now is the strap being asymmetrical because of the zip. Damn my CDO.
