My current favourite punk band is the Dreadnoughts, which, to quote my daughter, gives "musical whiplash"

Noticeable influences in their sound include acts such as The Pogues, Brave Combo, Stan Rogers, Boiled in Lead, Gogol Bordello, Goran Bregovic, Dropkick Murphys, and Rancid. The band commonly records and perform sea shanties, polkas and klezmer songs, and are also strongly influenced by English Scrumpy and Western music - in particular the West Country bands The Wurzels and the Surfin' Turnips.[5]

I'll have to check them out. Now having visions (hallucinations?) of "cider klezmer" and the as yet undiscovered Glastonbury synagogue founded by King Arthur with Merlin, chief rabbi of the Somerset levels (and inventor of the Mohican).
