Double the price however

I've never had a Rab bag, they do interest me.

I've been really happy with thermarest bags,

I picked up a Hyperion 45 900fill 345g in total, sadly even thermarest didn't know the full weight

I really rate thermarest, good quality

My thermarest are better than the sierra design and on par with the western mountaineering summerlite I had

I had to send my first Vesper 7C quilt back the ULOG. It had faulty down distribution out of the box and there was no way to redistribute it (no stuff gap to move around down). The replacement I got has been a great summer quilt and is true to 7C imo with a decent mat. (I went for the large as like the extra width, regular might have been a little too constrictive. No issues with the footbox which in particular is well stuffed and very warm for it's rating imo. Pad strap system is not the best as it only wraps around the pad edge, so can cause a lot of dead space to heat in cold nights (I might modify mine with MYOG straps for this season)

My mate just got this. Rather good deal if you have a blue light card.

I just upgraded my Suunto 9 (no maps breadcrumb trail) to a Suunto Race. It has maps and I couldn't afford at all. Went on Jura Watch website and they followed me up with an email asking if they could help.

Ended up with a discount of over 15% and got it down to just below £320 (from £390 full price). In case it helps anyone. Apparently the Race is really good and I like my Suunto 9 previously.

New power bank stupid cheap as 40% off. Reviews seem good

"CUKTECH PB100 10000mah full charge offers 5600 mAh to your devices". Not so great. I know energy is always lost during transfer, but that is quite a lot. From what I've noticed so far these higher speed power banks waste a lot of energy when charging devices, especially smaller devices like this. Maybe fine if you just want a quick recharge and not bothered about efficiency.

It’s a punt at the price but one review seemed to indicate he got 8000 out of it. Voltage modulation for 9v charging will eat 20% broadly speaking

Seems strange he got 8000 when even the manufacturer says you'll only get about 5600 realistically though. Wouldn't trust any reviews on no name brands like this

Tested at 20w draw and got 8745 mah. Very respectable and comparable to Anker. I’d expect to see 8000 at 30w but my tester is usb A so can’t test at full pelt. Still for the price not too shabby

At 20w that seems good..still don't understand why they themselves claim 5600 realistic power transfer though 🧐.

Won’t go on trips as I have other faves but being near off grid we use a lot of power banks for charging all manner of lights, gizmos and tech. It’s an odd specification to include and it’s clearly wrong.
