I found out yesterday that Andy Howell has passed away after a short illness. Andy was a well known TGO Challenger and wrote a popular hiking blog. I met him a couple of times on my 2014 TGO Challenge. Sad news indeed.

I always enjoyed the TGO podcasts he did with Bob and I also had some nice chats with him on my crossing too

Very sad news. Never met Andy but seemed a great guy who ran one of the best (IMHO) outdoor blogs around...I suspect there's quite a few people around who were inspired to give food dehydrating a go thanks to his advice and encouragement.
