Some years ago, Andrew Terrill started writing up a walk he did along the length of Italy. I don't remember where he was posting it, but I found both the journey and his writing very interesting. Unfortunately, long before he'd finished it, he stopped due to changes in his life.
Apparently he's now finished writing it up and it's going to be published as a book and ebook. More information is available here.

I was disappointed when it came to a stop. Thanks for the info. and a place to "catch up" :)

Hello - I just stumbled upon this, so felt I should pop in and apologise again for the blog finishing in the way it did.

Back then, it was eating up too much time - taking away from the hills. Which ran contrary to everything I was writing about!

But at least I did get the story finished eventually. If you read the book, I hope the long delay was worth it!

I'm just glad that you finally finished. I was really enjoying the blog.
I have the book bookmarked and will be ordering it as soon as my mother-in-law gets back from a visit to relatives (I live outside the UK and don't want to pay £34 in delivery costs).

£34 in delivery is outrageous! I wish I had control over that - I am appalled by that rate. As a biased author I think the book is worth reading - but not at that price! Was that through Amazon?

I'm happy to look into posting it to you from Colorado if other options fail. What country do you live in? Let me know, and I'll figure out the cost for different options.

£34 was for delivery to Turkey. These things happen. I've since had it delivered to my in-laws in the UK with free delivery. Thanks for the offer, though.
