An ultralight axe for splitting wood?

I've a Hultafors splitting axe. Been very happy with it.

They are very nice aren't they? Hultafors are the kind of Hilleberg of axes, although I doubt they see themselves that way, or that Hilleberg would describe themselves as the Hultafors of tents. Both Swedish, mind.

Excuse the senseless rambling above - blame the excessive smoking I have indulged in today. This is because it is National No Smoking Day, and although I seldom (if ever) indulge in tobacco any more, I make a special exception for this nannying institution.

Hilleberg the company may be Swedish but their tents are made in Estonia, using South Korean DAC (Dongah Aluminum Co) Aluminium poles.

Common knowledge. Who makes their fabrics?
Sure, they may get their fabrics from a Swedish supplier, but that doesn't mean those fabrics are actually made in Sweden.
Volvo is also a Swedish company but their cars are made in six different countries around the world (USA, India, China, Malaysia and Belgium, not just in Sweden). Does that make a Volvo made in Malaysia Swedish? One could argue that is Malaysian, but built to a Swedish design.
And Ikea is another well known Swedish company but their furniture is made in China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Romania, and Poland.
Bonfus is run by a Norwegian living in Italy but his packs and products are made in his sisters workshop in Mexico...I would not say my Bonfus backpack is Italian.
We live in a world with global industries so you cannot just say a company or product is from one particular country anymore.
