There must be a few hills worth in Larkhall, Its the in thing there, been that way for as far back as I can remember.

Our area used to be known for it's 'red' roads. The red stone is apparently particularly hard wearing.
However, it's popularity with folks wanting it for their gardens/driveways, because of it's colour, has pushed the price up and the council don't use it much now.

90% of the roads around Larkhall heading out all the way as far as Ayr were red when I was a kid then it spilled over into gardens. Still quite a few off the beaten track roads still have the red.

Finally arrived. Have to say the fabric feels amazing on this one. My first grey trailstar copy felt like tracing paper compared to this. Stitching looks clean enough. Cordage feels like it will be less slippy compared to the stuff that came with my old one. Hopefully no wonky panels when I pitch it up. Hopefully have a wee look tonight.

Not the best pitch. Uneven rooty ground where it's impossible to get a peg in. We have about 2 inches of extremely loose soil and then just pure stone underneath. It's like this around the entire of Gotland. Basically needed to use exposed tree roots to pitch it.. challenging to say the least with a tarp like this. I think mine possibly has a bit of a wonky seam at the back also, but maybe not quite as bad as @Dave V example. Will need to give it another shot with some better pitching conditions. Pole height was at 140.

Sorry for the slow reply, already used it for 4 different trips

So agree with the wonky seam as mentioned above. I noticed this too when seam sealing as one of them just isn't quite right, doesn't effect pitch or performance but yes I noticed this.

I immediately changed the cord from the line locs as it was poor, slipped through the locs under tension but now it's perfect. My go to shelter for the mean time as I also bought an inner off of Ali which is superb if bugs are about!

Regardless of the faults, for the £60 I paid I'm smitten!

I would add pics but I only have the photos on Facebook and don't know how to get the URL for them on my phone!

I still have an unused one in my 'box in the loft' from when they were £30. Like the idea, but not ideal for what I do.
