It looks a great trip, I followed a link from Hendriks site last night but I'd not seen that article, cheers for that

I've been keeping an eye on these 2 guys - must go and catch up on their latest instalment now :). RESPECT.

I've been working my way thru' this lasses blog (- not read it all yet). She's done the PCT twice. Interesting and perceptive with a pleasant readable writing style.

what an epic effort. Will keep an eye on that. Has anyone read some good books on PCT / CDT / AT etc?, i know Chris Townsend has one and Keith Foskett. Worth a read? Dont really want a guide book. more a personal account

Bill Walker has several books on long distanced trails, I've got Skywalker: highs and lows on the pacific crest trail and like. If Keith Foskett's The Last Englishman or the forthcoming one about the AT are anywhere near as good as his Camino book (The Journey In Between) then they're worth the read. The AWOL book about the AT is quite good too.

I've got the original Virga but it's never been used...

Amazing challenge these guys have taken on!

I recently read I Promise not to suffer About a couple hiking the PCT. Tis an interesting personal account. It's the first book about US long distance trails, so it was quite eye opening on trail culture, trail angels, and the abuse thru hikers put their bodies/feet through.
