Wide foam pad?

Anyone know where I can find a wide foam pad for a reasonable price?

I've had a Google and not really got much. Ideally I'm looking for a relatively stiff foam, like the cheap blue ones or even stiffer would be fine. Thickness isn't really important. It has to be at least 60cm wide.

    Cheers.

James. Get the second sheet for £9.99 and we'll share the rebate.

@Mole thanks, not too concerned with weight as it'll be a small piece on a backpack back panel but it's a bit pricey.

@JKM thanks, that looks promising. I'll see what rog has first but will probably try that stuff as well.

The LD33 is £12.99 for the 2nd 2x1 sheet, alas due to the size there is really not much saving to make if it then has to be posted onwards.
    Unless anyone is passing Suffolk.....

    I can't believe those prices include P+P.

Aldi and Lidl do 75cm wide CCF every now and then. 325g for a 180x 75cm mat. It's an excercise mat but is pretty good for sleeping on and not too dense. Dual density stuff with softer foam ribs and stiffer bottom, £3.99 IIRC.

I don't know what length you need but this place carries proper Evazote 50 at 1 x 1.5m, it'll be much stiffer and harder wearing than the Plastazote. Zote foam are never cheap though.

Thanks @Teepee that algeos stuff looks perfect. Reasonably priced too although I'm sure postage will be expensive.

I'll need to get to an aldi or lidl to see if they've got some before I order anything.

It's for in the sleeve on the back of the pack I'm making, 24"×24" ish is ideal as I have a long back and the pack is 12" wide against my back.

^ The different colours have different thicknesses. The postage was a bit of a killer on that site, Extremtextil do a 1x2m in EV30 that isn't too bad to ship if you get some fabric at the same time. That EV50 is like kneepad foam, EV30 is more like our sleeping mat foam in Multimats.

I've got some of the extrem stuff actually. The 4mm ev50. It's really flimsy. Tbh I could make do with what I've got but would prefer something stiffer so getting it in and out is a bit easier. Or I could maybe just tape some cheap blue foam sections together.

I cheaped out on my last camping mat! Won't be doing that again. Ended up getting a custom 2 layer made here, best thing I ever bought.
