Hello hikers I'm popping over to Poland in the next few weeks and plan on getting a Cumulus quilt and jacket, but I'm torn about which ones to get. I already have a -1° 450 quilt and want the new quilt to be less insulating; when my wife - who is a cold-sleeper - and I are on a trip together, she would use the 450, and for solo trips a second quilt would give me a better match for the expected weather.
For a jacket I think the Incredilite Endurance with 140g of down looks good; I have the Decathlon down jacket but found it isn't especially warm while sitting inside a chilly bothy, having only ~70g of down.
For the new quilt, which would be better: the 4° 250 or the 2° 350? The 350 was my first thought - warmer is better, right! - but now I'm thinking that the 250 + the Incredilite Endurance would be enough for cool spring & autumn nights, while the 250 alone would also do well in warmer ones.
Which would you get?
