What have you bought?

An interesting place of you need cigarettes or a three litre bottle of Period ;)

Coffee excellent at Los Valles... or 'loss val ehs' as you couth-starved bumpkin would say..

Yes very well catered for on all those fronts, for sure... Although quite why one should require 3 litres of full stops is beyond the grasp of my turnip addled cranium..

Still more a fan of colonic irritation m'self ; ; ;

Fear not for the 'couth' though - I have an endless supply - I pack it myself...
..
Like they say - you can take the nicely brought up middle - class- girl out of the culture... But you don't take the culture (or class) out of the girl..

Hmm.

We spent a couple of nights and a rest day there last year. Turned back on our loop. Arrived via GR19.1, and left hitching up to Hospital de Parzan, and then HRP west to Barroude n then onwards to Gavarnie.

Shared a cafe table with a couple of French guys who were just down for shopping for fags n booze before picking their kids up from school.

Or even Pernod....

I liked the place TBH, and will pass through again later this summer: thinking your Aniscolo alternate then across (2days?)...

Not keen on the Pineta descent twice in a season!

I'm just learning the 'drawing random squiggly lines on a map' thingy... @edh

If you like I could do you one atop a Spanish map, with 'proposed variants'

Untested naturally - but sure you'll enjoy the challenge.
Almost as much as I'll enjoy squiggling it...

with quiet trepidation

Oh come now, why so fear't?

It would only be 'advisory'

Not another one that needs coaching in 'You're a grown up, fully qualified to make your own grown up decisions'

Lorks this is hard work :(

Being kind I gave your ineptitude the cloak of appreciative, nay encourging :)angelic:) approbation...

I need it in 12 days.

Most mortals could crop several bushels of innocently dallying vegetables in such a generous time frame...

... yet a wiggly line...

Being 'of a kind' more like... :rolleyeses:

How very rude, uncultur'ed, even...

Nay unappreciative...

Well, t'was ever thus; plus ca change... etc etc.

I only pretend to be inept at these things you know... It's my 'cloak of incompetance' so as to avoid being written off as one of those annoying people who is naturally talented at everything... :banghead:

12 days you say...

Well perhaps if i didn't have so many bushels to crop; and plant; and hoe; and people to bend; and; and; and; I'd have more time to give to these things.

But folks have gotta eat.

And be bent into queer shapes for their own good...

Talk about thankless tasks :bear:

And maybe if i did stop getting involved in pointless; unwinnable arguments; with random internet people; that might help too..

Yup, black Leki hands. My carbon Leki's are the worst for it. I find the foam warmer than the BD's, often saves me donning gloves in winter.

Is that lid elastic shot Martin or is that normal? My battered old meet Vulcan looks similar and I always thought it could do with renewing?
