What have you bought?

I always prefer to have at least one piece of bright clothing on. Not only for being able to be found quicker if an accident would happen, but also to not get accidently shot by hunters. I'm more scared of hunters than I am of bears and I live in the region with the most bears in Sweden hahah

Yeah, keep forgetting about hunters but they scare the life out of me when I'm hiking in Spain during their hunting season ... Bright orange scarfs and hat helps - and singing when in doubt...!!!
Fortunatly, I don't sound like any deer... :D:rolleyes:

Brilliant stuff!
David Copperfield I presume or is it M. Drop? (Doffing my hat).

I'm making that very shirt in that very Argon 90 colour at the moment. Zipless.
Mr Drop it is. Shame it's no longer available. Maybe I should try my hand at some tailoring...

I'm guessing you don't live in England then?

Was that me? :) If so, I do live in the UK actually
BTW, you don't need to stealth camp usually in the mountains in continental Europe. But when you do camp outside some rules, I wouldn't recommend any camo as that would only make you look a little dodgy to any NP ranger but moreover, it would instantly disqualify any reasonable excuse for breaking some rule (e.g. "misjudged the time and it got dark" or some such) :)

I'm probably not the only one who automatically associates "dodgy" when I see camo whereas funky colours make for positive expectations (until I find out otherwise either way of course ;))

These have much more aggressive tread than the standard shoe.

Slightly annoying that if I actually had my :poop: together I could have got them half price, but ended up paying an extra £60 to get them on next day delivery :bag:

121 g £4.99 @ The Range. Solid customer service when they unboxed a digital scale to weigh them before buying :dude:
I Could probably get them down to 105g by swapping out the wide, generous elastic waist for some 2/3 mm bungee... Whilst I'm still wearing my abdomen protection suit , I'll leave them as they are :couchpotato:
I could trim off 2 " of the generous leg and save another 4g :whistling:
Small pack size is a win

I rarely bother carrying waterproof trousers, but at that weight and price... They'll not go untested:troll:IMG_20210416_104215.jpg Screenshot_20210416_112027.jpg

Like the look of them.

Please post on how they are when used in anger.

I find decathlons "speed hiking" and "fast hiking" selection to be pretty nice

Agree. Decathlon have some excellent gear for the price. I generally wear there hiking gear on a day-to-day basis. Now that stores are open again here, I will have to go and look what they have. It’s just that they have so much of it!

Rab Pulse hoody. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but it has proved good for running and should work well on hot summer days. Nice fabric.
It's between the pulse and the Nitro for my most worn top.... It's only to look at vecro from ten feet and it comes out in hives.... But has proven to be seriously durable.
I had two and sold one when it became obvious how durable and practical it is.

Just ordered a Seek Outside Flight Two in full Spectra, for when I need to carry a slightly heavier load. Now need to wait a few months for it to arrive!

I was going to buy the flight 1, but spent so much time deciding between that and an HMG pack, that they released this which is the ideal set-up for my style of backpacking.
