I've manage to melt one plastic spork, and my last one spontaneously snapped in two for no apparent reason, so I've gone titanium
Where from please
Looks like this?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Light-My-F...rds=light my fire spork&qid=1600099020&sr=8-3
If it is, it's a nice spork. Nice and light and decent value.
Orange anodized left handed Foon. Like a Spork, but with the fork end pointing up instead of down.
It is indeed from Amazon!
How do you deflate the mat?
Its one of those valves that lock with the internal pressure - push the inner valve down and it deflates. Quite quickly actuality.
but rolling it tightly while holding down the valve is a pain or am I missing a technique?
You can turn the valve while holding it down. This locks it in the open position
...another macpac tent...
Oooooh.... go on then, what is it?
One of these bad little chaps
Do you mind taking a photo of yours. I tried again to rotate the valve with no luck.
I love macpac tents Taz, what did you get?
Long handled spoon and some buffalo mitts.
I got an amazon voucher for a survey and am trying not to fritter it away on stuff. And failing...
That reminds me, I ordered some booties and a long handled spoon from ‘far-flung’ ages ago... still hasn’t arrived yet.
Ali Express is such a gas...
Montane Ember Pull-On Jacket and Tuff Mitts
Some pods to save volume in my pack until I have munched through the first 9 days of food I will need to carry on my next long winter trip. Can put them back inside as space becomes available.
OMM pods, nice, I often look at those.
An eclipse, blue with 2 doors.
Needs a small repair but hopefully all in good condition.
Not quite big enough for 2 unless you cuddle up.
I always fancied a 2- door tent.
I have a soft spot for the macpacs and keep half an eye on any sales.
At 2kgs not light but might do well as a winter tent .
New Asta Gear inner for my trailstar. Hoping will fit. Pishing down here at the moment! Really impressed with the quality to be honest. Stitching is immaculate and the thing weighs a measly 400g. Tons of room. Material also feels very nice. The stuff sack it came in had a very strange texture. Almost velvety. They also threw in a free extra stuff sack which is pretty cool.
Just couldn't wait, nice one.
I can never wait. Once it comes it must be erected rain or shine
