Don't like the side pockets, to deep for my liking. No bungy cord, love that on the 20 - it is where my rain jacket travels. Just the general shape of it doesn't work for me.

28 mile round trip across the moors and somehow I still manage to accidentally fall through the door.

Dog likes it. She drags me in there because they always have doggy biscuits in a bowl by the door.

If you find that a item on the Alpkit site is out of stock try calling one of their shops and ask about the item. I've tried this twice at the Hathersage shop and have been lucky with both the Gourdon 30 & the Hunka XL Bivi, both were saved for me to collect.

Nothing wrong with a bit of a colour clash. I bought something similar from AliExpress but it is heavier duty than expected. I'm going to strap it onto my gravel bike pannier rack on a cycling holiday in Belgium. The idea is it'll be waterproof and if we want to lock up the bikes and go for a walk I can just unwrap it and easily carry it.

What you bought that's esbit? I'm thinking of buying an Esbit ti stove and some tabs to give a go based on the thread on lightest weight method to heat water.

Got the 15cm big sky stake and guy kit from ulog. They had sold out of the longer ones.
So was very happy to see they had sent me 20cm ones :)
    Just the job!
Also got some 400d / 120g/m uhmwpe cloth. Beastie proof food bag, or if I can waterproof it possibly a bomber pack fabric.

I have the Esbit 585 Alu cookset that weighs in at 205g. I combine it with the Speedster 30ml burner & foil windshield for a total of 238g. I've not timed boiling as I'm in no rush, I'm happy with it.

There are 4 stakes and lines. Going to swap my Zing-it guys with the big sky ones as they are reflective and this tent gets used at sites.

I got that. It split just around the filler housing on its first outing (the pouch that is) and I've brought my heavier original Sawyer pouches out of retirement - never had a problem with those (although some have). Happy with the Micro otherwise though - flow rate significantly better than the Mini although still not going to win any races.

A "proper" winter tent in forrest green 40D silnylon to replace my beloved but heavy and cramped hooped bivy tent {Jack Wolfskin Gossamer 1}.

Finally I'll be able to sit up to get changed and not have to sleep buried amongst rucksack and gear through lack of vestibule.

Being a 4 season tent with solid inner it's not ultralight though it is still a fair bit lighter than what it replaces.

I've ordered a second inner, narrower and mesh, for non winter use. That should shave off some weight. Due to arrive separately.

Was a one off bargain since it was made as a prototype so excellent price. Having popped it up indoors for a quick look I'm just going outside and may be some time.
