I've made the cod with mashed before, it works out well. I put in the freeze-dried potatoes and chives from a soup just to make the meal less mashed-potatoey. The recipe of the cod with rice is new to me. But the dehydrated cod used in video I bought and it works out very nice, it actually feels and tastes like frozen fish in a box (not raw, obviously).
