Topo Adventure

Whilst searching for a new pair of summer walking boots for the Southern Uplands Way later this year, I came across the Topo Adventure and instantly took a liking to them because of the wide toe box, so have just ordered a pair.
Anyone on the forum got any experience with them? Most of the reviews seem to be in USA, so looks like not popular here?

I bought a pair last year and wore them for a couple of days along the Wolds way. I didn't really get on with them and they are now relegated to my boot box. My recommendation for a wide(ish) light weight boot would be a Meindl Journey. But then all feet are different and what suits me might not be any good for you.

cheers for your feedback, appreciated.
The problem I find with the journey & a few other Mid boots is they all have the goretex inner, I dont want a boot with a goretex inner, hence I went for this one without.
Ive had a few boots now with a goretex inner & although handy when its raining for the majority of summer walking a bit of an overkill.

Are they actually Trailventure?

This is a genuine question. If they are I can say something about them if not I would be off target. I Googled them and wasn't sure.

I've just finished my first outing in them- 3 days in the creag megaidh reserve. I really like the topo terraventure but I needed a boot for when I am wearing my Crampons (kahtoola kts with the ankle strap). I found the fit of the trail venture similar to the terraventure - excellent wide toe box and good heel cup. Obviously trailventure has much higher stack and drop cf terraventure but I got on well with them.

Thanks Gordon, good to know, There are plenty reviews on them but all seem to be state side so good to hear reviews from the UK, wont be doing any really off piste stuff in them, solely for walking the SUW in May.
