2 Bob pour n store bag is a better pee catcher for me...doubles as a hand warmer, shoe drying aid and in less danger of running out of volume. Can be used as a number two catcher in an emergency for the carb loaders and packet meals fans :whistling:

A kilo of spiced beef jerky - and very delicious it is too. Now all I have to do is keep my greedy thieving husband and kids away from it!!

Just tuck it away in the bottom of the freezer, less likely to be stumbled upon :)

Packed away in foil, cunningly mislabelled as "leftover sag daal", 'cos none of them like that!!!;)

Couple of dry bags: a skinny one for the down jacket, 14cm * 45cm, 18g; a fatter one for the Saor, 27cm * 45cm, 26g, also designed to sit on top of the pack for when space is tight (thanks for the idea @Munro277)
Both 50gsm PU ripstop, heat taped seams & velcro/ buckle closure.

A sturdy pot stand for my surprisingly effective tin of paint woodburner, I used an old shelf from a small greenhouse. I was going to drill holes in the rim of the tin and slot the potholder through but it seems to be fine just fitted into the tin.

    Sits inside for carrying.

Home school day 7 for us today. "Let's make a den".

We're going to try to sleep in our back garden in this tonight. 3mx3m old ripstop fashioned into a tarp. Purists might quibble but not bad for a 9yr old on his first go.

comes in at 572grams and cost about 65euro. should be good to 5°.

bought everything from adventurexpert, apart from fabric, which was extremtextil.

fabric at adventure expert was 22g a square m but was pretty much costing 50euro for fabric alone so i went with so 55g/sm stuff from extreme costing 25euro including delivery.

really happy with this. coulda shaved more weight off, but didnt think the upgrade was worth the money. everythings a balance innit.

Searching for some fabric for a small build for @Munro277 I discovered I had just enough Blue DCF left for a small running pack. The main body is all done, just waiting on some new shoulder strap material before I can finish it. Got a little carried away making the back panel :)

What's your technique for applying the tape? I have some laying around but haven't used it yet.
