I draw the line at cephalopods, too clever to eat. I think I have relatives with lower IQs!
(I know I'm on shaky ground here, I've met some pretty smart pigs.... bur dammit, they're just so damn tasty! )

As my son said yesterday, if there was one animal he'd like to be able to talk with it would be an octopus .

I've been membership secretary, of a small, but dedicated group of Cephlapod Appreciators, for a while now.
Trouble is, they are rather tasty too
You can get them in tins in Spanish shops though... Don't mind porting them for a day or two, for a evening treat on the trail
Lidl do tinned octopus on 'specials' occasionally - but small, and not really like the fresh .
No - altogether a different animal - but sometimes needs must..
