Nae even sure if reproofer is a word, it is now anyway.

I need a recommendation for some spray "reproofer" to do a goretex jacket or 2, its mainly for a simms aklins 3-layer Gore-Tex shell fishing jackets thats had a severe pounding over the last few weeks.

I have used nic wax wash in stuff before on other jackets wasnt massively impressed tbh, but im after a good spray rather than a wash in treatment this time

Grangers 2 in 1 wash and reproof for me over nikwax.
But if its spray on then keep your eye out in Aldi because they have spray cans of the stuff for £1.50 each from time to time. Or around £3 each on fleabay.

Nikwax TX wash in isn't really suitable for 3 laminates anyway as it only want applying to the outside face of the laminates. It probably goes some way to explain why you weren't impressed. It seems to wet out really quickly when washed in.
You can dilute the wash-in 8/1 and spray it on with a mist spray bottle; the spray on TX direct is just diluted wash-in.

Fishing gets stuff pretty dirty very quickly and nothing will last very well.

I've been pretty impressed with this stuff; https://www.303products.co.uk/shop/303-marine-fabric-guard/

Excuse me, fly fishing is a majestic art, we highland gentleman certainly do not get dirty clothing. I have people...

I've no plans to wash the jacket, just wanted to give it a zap with an extra boost of water repellent. Its a jacket that will only ever be out for a day at a time, (rather than my hiking jackets that could be out for weeks) so I'm not to fussed about longevity of the proofing, happy enough to ust give it a spray whenever i feel like it.

Thanks for the link
