These seem to be as rare as hen’s teeth. Couldn’t find any here, so I ordered them from Canada

Not cheap, but an efficient service and didn’t get stung with import duty. I ordered 20 which is overkill but I wanted to spread the postage.

Extremtextil sell those but aren’t shipping to UK (or Norway, so not just a Brexit thing).
Well, those two countries do share one characteristic with regards to EU membership... :whistling:

I think I will fund future purchases of hiking kit by reshipping tidbits from the EU to the UK for a nominal fee...

Where did you find those @Tartanferret ?

By the way did you know that mitten hooks are called Flag Pole Clip Hooks on Ebay and Aliexpress. 100 for £5.50!!!

I bought mine from gossamer gear when I was doing a Stackry order.

I’ve had a load of the AliExpress mitten clips, seem fine. However if you look at certain vendors, or strangely sometimes the amount of clips you require, the gate part of the clip is on the wrong side 😂

I've had a batch like that....sorted them by pushing the gate to the inside & baking at 110C for 10mins to 'relax' the plastic.

I sometimes clip part of the gate so it just acts as a flap rather than a gate and you can then pull the cord in and out. Some of the very small ones are so stiff they are unusable, for me, without doing this, although I know that if you can get them at the right angle you can kind of twist the cord out.
