I don't see why you couldn't use an inverted V setup with two poles internally (as long a you have a stick or something for the rear). If you want it on the outside, you'd have to stitch an additional loop.

I'm very tempted but can't help thinking if I'd put all of the money I've spent on Chinese shelters that are not quite right I'd be well past an original Trailstar and on my way to a Cuben Fibre shelter.

I knew he had been developing a larger shelter. I’m sure he’ll put some details on his web site later in the year.

    Yup silpoly, experiment.
On the rsbtr website he reviewed silpoly saying he found faults in the fabric that made him reticent to order a roll, so I wouldn't hold your breath.
I think the shelter design lends itself to a low stretch fabric hence the experiment.

Think it's the normal 2019 design?

Looks like a 2 pole design while both the 2019 designs on his website are single pole.

I like the idea of shelters where the inner is transverse to the entrance, i came very close to getting the Locus Gear one ( Khafra?..) This one has a neat side mesh viewing window.

Saw it on his instagram too, looks very interesting. I like the modularity of single or double inners. Be interesting to see what it's made of when it becomes available.
