What's the Hive's mind updated recommendation for the latest, smallest, lightest, fastest power bank that will charge an average smart phone at least once?
Also searching for an (ultralite, of course) Quick Charge power block with 2 outlets, one USB2 and one USBC. Super ideal would be an European one so I don't need to take an adapter. Any help on this appreciated.

Anker PD power banks has the USB-C connectors and PD is the power delivery meaning they can power even laptops and recharge quickly.

Anker has euro chargers as well

This is the newest and smallest duo charger with GaN Tech

I don't have experiences with any other brands as I've been very happy with Anker for years with power banks, chargers, cables, earphones and even a dash cam.

    +1 for Anker.

Unlike several other brands, you get close to the mAh rating with their power banks.

Must have gotten one of the rare lead filled 10,000mAh Ankers, mine weighs 205g

Was gonna order the RAVPower one, but they don't deliver to Greece and i'm not sure when i'll be back in the UK
Works put a restriction on flights

Shame as there are plenty of empty seats and a distinct lack of screaming kids on planes these days :bag:

I don't know how Anker achieve the weight they do. I tried some good quality 18650 cells and some bare electronics in a minimum case. It still weighed more than the equivalent Anker bank.

Not quite an apples to apples comparison. The Rav charger that gixer links to has dual USB and PD output. The 10,000mAh Anker with similar outputs that we have weighs 210g. So a choice of lighter weight or the ability to charge 2 devices at the same time (one of them quickly).

Reviews i've read give the RAVpower at 190g though

So heavier than the 1 USB output Anker (180g) but lighter than the dual output Anker.

I've recently (but not necessarily permanently) moved away from a powerbank (have an Anker and a couple of others) to a Nitecore F1 and 18650 cells. I can take as many cells as I think I'll need, it's very light, and the 18650 cells work in my headtorch (and handtorch if I take one)

Individual cells and the charger weigh less than my Anker powerbank

For example, I have a trip to the Lakes coming up, I was planning to bring three 18650 cells, plus one in my headtorch. That sounds a lot but I'll be using my phone on the way up and down as I'm going by train. An 18650 cell is lighter than the mains charger so it means I don't have to faff with charging up the cells on the train

I also take a USB plug in led stick, just as a little back up. I have two, one weighs 2g and the other 6g

Anker for me. Have the powercore 13000. Use it bikepacking and it'll charge the phone about 6 times when full. Has 2 USB ports so 2 devices can be charged at the same time.
    Cheap as chips too.
