As a self employed person, I find my boss is quite lenient with me taking time off.
Fat biking in the 'Gorms over Christmas:
Next week Loebas (my dog) turns two years old; time to introduce him to slightly longer walks in the hillier regions of Belgium.
We took an early train to Theux and followed a 18 km waymarked loop around the town.
It was wet, muddy and fairly cold but the dog had an amazing time.
Warning: dog-heavy report coming up... Sorry in advance.
Puddle is dog approved.
Every time I tried to figure out a way to go around a mud puddle, the dog just went straight in. Fairly efficient way of walking though.
The uphills went a lot easier for the dog then for me, obviously. Kudos to him for waiting every time I came stumbling after.
Enjoying the view/figuring out the way home/scouting for prey.

The above picture was taking just before a massive - but relatively short - rain shower. The dog didn't mind. I on the other hand...

Safe to say he was pretty dirty on the way home. Thank God I brought a towel to take care of the worst bits of mud.
He slept for 3 hours on the train.
