Oh my poor eyes. Admittedly I like the purple.
Reminds me of the earlymid 80s!
Greater Trail Gear, a new US cottage backpack-manufacturer.
They have a pack called the Challenge 45.

Less than 500 g with frame. But I wonder how much that frame helps? It looks pretty small.
I've started on a new pack so nice to get some inspiration.
Mmmm hmmm, this looks like the mutts nuts; always liked the CDT...but too big....
ULA do make some cute packs.
KS now offering lite skin for their packs
Looks like a sweat magnet??

Laurent keeps on making good looking stuff. But I really can’t motivate another pack.
Never heard of this manufacturer Jon, so went on their website. Looks very nice indeed! Would I be right in saying there's no frame in the pack, and if so how well does that work?
Laurent makes loads of very good gear, I just find his website a hassle.
Utterly chaotic, I'd say.
I’ve had a couple of KS packs, and have been happy with all of them. All of them where frameless though. I think you can find some info on this forum about his backpacks. Laurent is always helpful if you have any questions so don’t hesitate to contact him directly.
And he uses the epic Japan postal service
Osprey have just posted details of the Exos/Eja update.
Looks a nice bag. I have an old 46L which I quite like, started tinkering with some of the straps as the previous owner cut them quite short. Not sure if I would buy a new one, there is lots to like but also things I'm not keen on.
They're due to launch two new bags in the Spring, the Levity and Lumina. the 60l bag is 830g but otherwise seems to be much the same shape as the exos but a bigger looser mesh pocket and the dual entry side pockets look to be more dual than before, which I don't like as bottles go in easier but fall out easier too. But for the price of $260 could get an arc haul, although I suppose the Levity will be available in the UK. Looks rather fragile.
Gossamer Gear have ditched the brain on the 2018 Gorilla.
They've gone back to the older style lid.
