You may have to lie diagonally in the drift, I emailed and asked if I'd fit (I'm 6'3") and apparently I won't.

I got a similar reply when I asked them about the drift ("If you are taller than 6 ft 2" (187cm) then the Drift will likely not be long enough for you")

I think the OP is after a large tent for solo use so this may not be so much of an issue. 115 cm is also the width of the bathtub in Zpacks' Duplex by the way.

If I was buying for 2 persons I'd buy the Triplex and not the Duplex - HYOH :)

At least it's long enough for the average height (6' 3" :o o:) person.

Enough room to get your clothes in as well as yourself.

You may need to replace the side guys - mine were only just long enough to reach the peg at the bottom of the doors. And the QR buckle at the bottom of the doors is a bit minimalist but works so far.

@shetland_breeder thanks for that!
Got any tips for stakes as well? I believe the notch come with 4 8" Eastons.
Do they work well in the Scottish weather or should i replace them with the mini groundhogs that i already have?

It comes with 4 x 6" Eastons, so you need to add two more stakes for the side guys. If it's not shipped yet you might get TT to add them to your order. I take some 8" Eastons for the end and side guys, leaving two of the 6" Eastons as spares.

There's a thread on here that links to a test of peg holding power. Grounhogs are pretty much as good as Eastons for holding power and weigh the same and are a lot cheaper, but Easton's are nicer to use (easier on the hands and don't collect mud). The former issue can be eased by buying some of these or similar: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221802202012. The 14mm size are a nice push fit on Groundhogs and clones (at least the ClamCleats clones) - you need a smaller size for mini-groundhogs though.

They either need replacing with bigger ones, or a pegging point adding on the 'other' door.

@mathijs must be wondering if he made the right choice! Don't worry - the shelter hasn't been made that couldn't have a few improvements made to it, and these are relatively minor points. Don't forget this tent was never intended for use in serious weather - it just happens to exceed design requirements by a lot.

I'd stick with Eastons, maybe mini groundhogs for the guys? IME, in most situations Easton 9" exceed the capability of mini-groundhogs. The larger standard groundhogs are nearly comparable.

Eastons all round for me.

The door toggles are poor and can unclip in stronger wind.

One of mine unclips if I just look at it the wrong way! Never mind, I would have added linelocs/guys to the non guyed doors anyhow.
